An excellent movie. No doubt. A film about dreams, and love, and finding the way to ourselves. Jeff Bridges got the Oscar as an actor in a leading role for his performance, as a country singer in his going down career.
Bad Black, the main character, is just letting himself going to the precipice, accompanied by excesses of alcohol and tobacco.
But when everything seems to be lost, is when the light comes and our lives shine again. Like in this movie. Every hope was lost but Bad Black meets the girl, and she makes him better, wanting to be deserving of her.
Jeff Bridges performs a great interpretation, involving us in the series of events that occur in the movie. That's one of the greatest features of the movie.
Because, probably to be found, we have to be lost... and when the darkness of the night seems to be perpetual, the dawn is coming, and with it the daily renaissance that is given away with each day.
A must-seen movie.
Simply wonderful.
